Medium Range Rifle
Course Description
The SSD Medium Range Rifle course is the most versatile class we offer. This course is great for defensive applications and hunters alike. Students are provided the knowledge to get first round hits out to 600 yards with a high degree of success. We develop a true understanding of the scoped rifle setup, how it applies in field conditions, and under environmental factors out to 600 yard range. Students will be working from the prone position and alternate positions including crouching or kneeling. This forces them to solve problems on the fly, under less than ideal shooting conditions, while still getting hits down range. This is an excellent course for anyone looking to get more out of their bolt action or gas operated rifle in a field environment.
